DANCE

Liquid Measure, a new dance work by Baltimore Dance Project choreographer Carol Hess, one of "the most exciting choreographers in Baltimore." Dancers Rebecca Dyson and Franki Trout perform up close with unexpected, precise and provocative movement derived from early systems that used parts of the body as measuring instruments.

Rd E3 is a movement installation influenced by the texture and architecture of AREA 405. Lauren Withhart, along with Betty Skeen, use improvisation and perspective to shift the space.

In negotiations with space, time, and manners, dancers attempt to find means of expression and connection with each other in Quad Ruled, by Renée Brozic Barger. The navigation of formal interaction is revealed before the audience in this site-specific work of formulas, congruence and variation. Quad Ruled is danced by the choreographer and Nicole McClam, Graham Pitts, Stephanie Yezek. Dance performed on Friday night only.
